Cliniko has a recall feature built right into their platform - so why would you need to use Peptalkr's automated recalls? We explain it here.

The answer is simple - Cliniko's recalls are not automated. The intention is that you can add a recall to a patient on the fly, then later on export all of your recalls and follow them up manually by letter, text or phone.

Peptalkr's recall system is different - instead of manually marking a patient for recall the system will automatically identify that the patient has not been in and send them an email.

You can select exactly when the recall should send, and under what specific conditions it should send.

The types of recalls you can send

  1. Patients without an upcoming appointment

  2. Cancellation recalls

  3. DNA recalls

Check out our guide to crafting the perfect, fully-automated recall strategy across all 3 types of recalls and our recommended timing.

So can Peptalkr recall my patients on the date I've marked them for recall?

No. Peptalkr has it's own configuration as Cliniko recalls are not available in the API (meaning integrators like us, cannot see the dates you've marked a patient for recall).

So instead, you can use our very clever recall settings to define when and how a patient should be recalls.

We suggest reading this article about the different methods of recalling/reactivating patients without an upcoming appointments.
