Setting up Peptalkr doesn’t need to be overwhelming. Most of the “thinking” has already been done for you – you just need to follow the steps below. Think of this as your setup checklist.
Step 1: Complete the essential setup steps
Make sure you complete the Essential setup steps checklist located in the chat bubble (only appears once your account is approved which usually happens within 24 hours of signing up).
By completing the access your FREE templates step you'll (literally) save weeks of setup time. This is where the magic happens! You'll get time-saving email templates perfect for all kinds of health practices that match your business logo and colours from the get-go!
Plus, these templates have been professionally designed and they work wonders with real patients.

Step 2: Explore your free templates
Now is the fun part - check out your beautiful email templates, and pick one to get started with! We have step-by-step instructions on how to view, edit and use the templates - just click the button below.

Use the steps below to set up your first Peptalkr email in under an hour.

Go take a look at your templates (tutorial via the button above)
Click each one and look at their content and layout.
There are templates for confirmations, reminders, telehealth, recalls, cancellations, newsletters and more!

Go ahead and edit the template you want to change and save it - now, every time you create an email from this template, you won't have to repeat that change. Great for:
Adding your cancellation policy into the confirmation, reminder, welcome and missed appointment email.
Adding your social media links into the Newsletter.
Changing the colour, font or logo.
Templates are not the actual emails you send – they’re just reusable designs you can start from. Don’t overthink them: the only edits you might want to make are things you’ll never want to redo (like inserting your cancellation policy, adding social links, or tweaking colours). For everything else, you can adjust the content each time you create an email from a template.

We make this part easy too - simply:
scroll down to the tutorials table in the template article (the button above!) and take your pick.
Click Open tutorial and you can follow the steps to set it up in a flash.
💡 Top tip
The best advice we can give you is to watch our very helpful video which shows you how emails work with Peptalkr. You can find that in our introduction to email guide (essential reading and watching).
Step 3: End your trial to remove restrictions
Your free trial lets you send emails to up to 250 patients. Once you’ve decided Peptalkr is right for you, you’ll need to end the trial to remove this restriction.
To end the trial early:
Make sure you have added a payment method to the Billing page
Use the chat bubble to let us know you want to end the trial now and we'll help you pick the best plan for your needs.
Wait out the free trial:
You're most welcome to use the full 30 days of your trial, however, you will be limited in how many marketing emails you can send.
Make sure you have added a payment method to the Billing page
Your trial will end automatically on the trial end date
You'll then be prompted to select an active patient limit (see below)
Import the rest of your patients (set an Active Patient Limit):
When the trial ends (either early or automatically), you’ll also need to set your Active Patient Limit. This is important because:
It’s the control switch that determines your plan.
You can adjust it any time to match your current list size.
Setting this correctly is an important step that ensures all the patients you intend to contact can receive your Peptalkr emails.
Go to the Settings page
Make a selection from the dropdown
Click save
⏰ The import takes about an hour but can take longer for larger accounts. If you feel it's taking too long (over 24 hours) please use the chat bubble to let us know, and we'll get you sorted.
