Cliniko has a wait list feature that lets you track patients waiting for appointments. Unfortunately, Peptalkr cannot integrate with Cliniko's wait list β this data isn't available through their API, and Cliniko doesn't offer an export option for it either.
This means you can't send automated messages or campaigns to wait list patients through Peptalkr.
A workaround using Custom Lists
If you'd like to contact wait list patients via Peptalkr, you can create a Custom List as an alternative:
Create a Custom List (e.g. "Appointment Wait List")
Set up a sign-up form with relevant custom fields such as their name, email, preferred location and practitioner β you could even add an "Urgent" checkbox to help prioritise patients
Share the form link with patients directly, or have reception complete it on behalf of patients who call
Send email campaigns to the list when appointments become available β this isn't automated, but it lets you bulk-contact wait list patients on a first-come, first-served basis
π‘ You can also segment your custom list by fields you create such as an "Is this urgent?" checkbox which you can then use to contact priority patients first.
Removing patients from a custom wait list
Patients can simply click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email from that Custom List. This only removes them from the wait list β it won't unsubscribe them from your main email marketing list.
