If you're porting over to Peptalkr from somewhere else, chances are you're wondering how to bring over your unsubscribes. Luckily this is super easy and only takes a couple of minutes!

If you've used another email marketing system in the past, importing your unsubscribes is an essential step. It ensures that patients who have previously unsubscribed from your marketing emails remain unsubscribed once you get going with Peptalkr.

Examples of where you may have unsubscribes:

  1. Mailchimp

  2. ActiveCampaign

  3. CliniqApps

👣 Steps to import unsubscribes

  1. Export your unsubscribes for current/past system into a CSV file

  2. Tidy up the CSV file

  3. Import them into Peptalkr

One: Export your unsubscribes

🙈 Mailchimp:

Mailchimp has an article that explains the process right here.

▶️ ActiveCampaign:

ActiveCampaign has instructions - remember, you only want to export Unsubscribes.

♾️ CliniqApps:

Go to Settings > Unsubscriptions

You'll need to locate the Download all unsubscribers button.

Two: Tidy up the CSV file

Ensure you are only dealing with your Unsubscribes. Delete tabs of the CSV that are for anything else, such as Active, Cleaned etc.

Now that you've got a CSV, go ahead and:

  1. Delete all columns except for email address

  2. Change the email address column heading to email

  3. Save the file (ensuring it is saved as a CSV)

Three: Import them onto Peptalkr

That's it! Next up: Sending your first email with Peptalkr. Continue
