Testing automated emails​

Before you send an automated journey, you can do test it. With a test you can preview the appearance of each email in your journey so you can:

  1. Check the appearance on your email in the inbox

  2. Check that your links work

You cannot test your personalisation variables when it comes to automated campaign steps. Provided you used these instructions to insert your variables - they will work.

To run a quick test:

  1. Before you turn on your automated journey, click each email step and on the left hand side of the screen scroll down to Preview
    ​

  2. Click Preview to open a new tab with your email.

If you are using a variable to insert a booking link or other link - it won't work as these links only work in real emails. If you want to be absolutely certain it works - you can replace the [variable] with an actual URL link to your booking page.

Once satisfied you can go ahead and turn on your Automation.
