Wanting to check out Peptalkr forms as if you're a real patient by seeing how the data comes into your Cliniko?
Accessing your forms
You'll find your forms on the Forms tab of your Peptalkr account.
Your forms contain [variables] which help Peptalkr to automatically identify which patient is filling it in. If these variables are not replaced with actual Cliniko data, your test submissions are not going to show up in Cliniko.
How to update the variables for testing
So if you want to see how they come up in Cliniko you need to replace the placeholder [variables] with real Cliniko data.
Here's how:
You must replace the [appid]
with a real patient ID from Cliniko.
So we recommend creating a dummy Cliniko profile for testing purposes. Then open up that patient file in Cliniko and grab the 'patient ID' from the URL displayed at the top of your screen in Cliniko - see the highlighted area below:
Then place that number into the [appid]
part of the form URL before hitting enter to load the URL in your browser (this is important).
You should also replace [patientfirstname]
with any real name if you want to see how the patient's name shows up in the form itself.
e.g. if your form URL is:
https://peptalkr.typeform.com/to/example#a=[appid]&name=[patientfirstname]
It will become this:
https://peptalkr.typeform.com/to/example#a=6847974&name=Jane
Checking Cliniko
Default patient information
Now go into Cliniko and open your test patient. You'll see their data has now transferred into the corresponding Cliniko fields - for example see below.
For a full list of data that transfers into the corresponding existing Cliniko fields click here.
Additional questions (health history etc)
All other questions will be placed into either a Treatment note or PDF depending on what you selected on the settings page of your Peptalkr account.
PDFs
These are located on the Files tab of the Cliniko patient file:
Treatment Notes
These are located in the Treatment Notes tab of the Cliniko patient file:
Please note: Treatment notes will be authored by the Cliniko Practitioner whose API key you used on the Settings page of your Peptalkr account.
