Want to fine-tune your campaign audience? With Peptalkr, you can exclude specific segments of your audience to ensure your message reaches the right people. Here’s how to do it.

Sometimes, you might want to exclude certain subscribers from a marketing campaign. For example:

  • Avoid sending a promotional email to patients who have already booked the promoted service.

  • Exclude a particular patient type from receiving an email irrelevant to them (e.g exclude men from receiving a women's health email)

  • Target a specific group without overlapping with another segment.

Peptalkr makes it easy to exclude segments when sending your campaigns. This ensures your emails are relevant and reduce unnecessary messaging which can result in unsubscribes.

Start with creating useful segments

You'll need to create some segments first. Start with segments that will be the most useful for both targeting, and exclusions.

Examples include:

  1. Segments for each business location

  2. Segments for the known sex of patients

  3. Segments for each treatment modality (appointment category)

  4. Segments for specific appointment types
