If you have created or imported external lists you may want to connect it to a sign up form so that subscribers can join it automatically.
Your 'Patients' list is in constant sync with Cliniko, so you should not attach it to a sign up form. But any additional lists you need (e.g. website newsletter, advertising leads you collect, emails you collect at events you host etc.) can be connected to forms.
There are 2 ways to attach a sign up form:
Using a Peptalkr sign up form
Whenever you create a list manually, you can also create a sign up form. This form can then be embedded on your website, have it's own landing page or placed onto a popup. We'll cover all three options here.
If your website uses a compatible form building tool, you can scroll down to 'Connecting to an external form builder'.
1. Open your custom list and press 'sign up forms'
2. Select which method you'd like to use
Guide to the three methods:

Methods 2 and 3 will require some website knowledge. Forward to your web developer if you're not sure what to do.
3. Customise your form content
In the 'Content' tab you can upload a logo, add a heading, write a description for your sign up form, set your button text and your thank you text.
4. Customise your form styling
Click the 'Styling' tab to set your fonts, colours and other design settings. If you are finding the settings too limited, you'll need to get your website developer to use custom CSS to style an embedded form how you want it.
5. Add your fields
Now you configure which fields you want your form to include. In our example above we have added an 'Interests' field so our subscribers can select which events they want to be emailed about. We can use this later in a 'segment' to better target our emails.
6. Set your additional options
You can add a privacy policy link, select whether you need to ask for cookie permissions and set your language here.
7. Save and generate
Now you can click the save button at the bottom of the screen. Depending on which type of form you are creating, you'll be provided:
A URL
A HTML script (to add to your website)
A Javscript (to add to your website)
🎉 Woohoo, you can now share your list and watch the signups roll in automatically. From here, you might want to create a welcome automated journey that triggers 'On subscription' to your list.

Connecting to an external form builder
If you have a WordPress website - you may already be using a form builder plugin on your website for lead generation pages or contact forms.
Some WordPress form builders are compatible with Peptalkr lists.
