FAQs

How do I add an Unsubscribe link?

All automated journeys automatically add an unsubscribe link at the bottom of the email.

Can I send the birthday email before their birthday?

Yes! All you need to do is click the first step in the automation and change it to send 'Before' the date of birth, instead of 'On' the date of birth.

Can I send the birthday email on the 1st of the month for everyone with a birthday that month?

No, the birthday automation sends relative to their actual date of birth. So it can be a certain durations in hours, days, weeks or months before but it cannot be on a specific day of the month for everyone.

Can I send a birthday SMS?

At this stage it isn't possible, only Automated Journey emails can send in relation to a birthday.

Can I reference their age in the email?

No. For security and privacy reasons, the year of birth and age is not available. Peptalkr was designed with the 'Swiss Cheese Method' in mind - meaning, we take multiple measures to protect the personal information of your patients to reduce risk of exposure if your account was compromised. Exact dates of birth are considered highly sensitive patient information, so we only store the day and month of their birth.
