Add links and buttons to transactional emails

These instructions are relevant to transactional email templates.

Your prebuilt email templates have a number of existing buttons in them. While some are already configured to link to your online booking link, others need to be customised with the destinations you choose. Here's a guide on what to do!

Example of a button you need to add a link to:


'Call us' button

  1. Click on the button you want to edit in the email template builder.

  2. In the button link field enter the following:

    tel:
  3. Now add your chosen phone number after the : symbol so it looks like this:

    tel:0212345678
  4. Click done editing then preview and save your template.


'Email us' button

  1. Click on the button you want to edit in the email template builder.

  2. In the button link field enter the following:

    mailto:
  3. Now add your chosen email address after the : symbol so it looks like this:

  4. Click done editing then preview and save your template.

Personalisation shortcut: You can use the [businessreplyemail] or [receptionemail] variable in place of an actual email address to dynaikcally insert the email address specific to your business settings. Read more.


'Website' button

  1. Click on the button you want to edit in the email template builder.

  2. In the button link field enter your website address including the http:// or https://

  3. Click done editing then preview and save your template.


'Find us' button

  1. Click on the button you want to edit in the email template builder.

  2. In the button link field enter either:

    1. A link to the page on your website which has your contact/directions details.

    2. A link to your Google Maps listing.

  3. Click done editing then preview and save your template.
